Orders may be taken at any time of the year, but will be supplied during the plants' dormant period -
from October to March.
A minimum order limit of £50 applies.
Our aim is to respond to all orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. However, the lifting of
plants for bare-root supply in winter is clearly weather-dependent. Please bear this in mind when
forward planning that there may be a delay of up to 2 weeks between ordering and receipt of goods.
V.A.T. will not be levied.
We would be happy to quote for packing and delivery costs for any order. Plants are despatched using
48-hours carriers. Carriage will be passed on to the purchaser.
The plants remain the property of Panton Plants until payment is received by the nursery. The
purchaser has responsibility for the plants from when the plants leave the nursery.
Sadly, we are unable to accept payment by credit card or switch at present. Payment terms are by
cheque within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
And finally, it's over to you...
Our box plants are like small icebergs - there's a lot more below the surface than above. Consequently,
planting them out when you receive them may take a considerable time, especially for large plants
and/or with significant numbers. If it is not possible to site plants in their final locations
within a day or two of delivery, we recommend that a suitably-sized plot of land in a sheltered
area is prepared for them prior to delivery, so that the box bushes can be heeled in and watered
soon after arrival.
