HEDGING
Buxus sempervirens "Latifolia maculata" (Sunshine Box)
Type: Fast-Growing (annual growth rate 3-4", 8-10 cm)
This form of common box has vibrant
green leaves, marbled with bright yellow. As the name suggests,
the leaves are considerably larger than the benchmark common
box, though its growth rate is similar. Young leaves are pure
yellow, giving this variety its moniker, the "sunshine box".
This form makes for a hedge or shrub to brighten dull corners.
These larger plants are great value for an "instant hedge".
